dang female cops

Well, my seven-and-a-half-year streak of being ticket-free is over.

I got pulled over last night in Bloomington after stopping at my sister's and then trying to hurry back to Lincoln for something. As soon as I went by the cop her lights immediately went on and there she was behind me!

I just can't get over the fact that I've never been pulled over in almost 8 years of driving, and the first time I can't even get a warning? At least she was nice about it, I suppose. She wasn't a jerky female cop.

Oh well, life goes on. I was just hoping for a life-long record of being a really good cop-spotter and never getting pulled, um....I mean, a life-long record of being a really good driver.

On that note, I'd like to pretend I'm on the radio right now and send a shoutout to Alli and wish her a Happy Birthday! And I'd like to give a shoutout to Amanda and Aubs and say Happy Birthday tomorrow!!! Gosh, lots of birthdays! Have fun and I wish I could see the 3 of you soon!!!

try 7 tickets within 2 years licence taken away...

I just got my first warning 2 months ago, I thought it was Christmas day.

Though I am paranoid at night driving with cars behind me, I always assume it is a cop.

Hey Mandy! Thanks for the birthday shout out! Wish I could see you too! At least it is a beautiful day (not that I get to see it because my office at the church is undground).

Sorry about the ticket. I have only gotten 1. It was a long time ago when I was driving to church camp following my speeding youth minister through the middle of no where in southern Illinois. My church paid for my ticket.

Aw, you poor thing! I've never been pulled over and I'm scared about the first time, if there ever is one.
